Unlinking a Duo
How duo unlinking works.
If you have had enough of your current duo partner, you can unlink your duo, in some cases.
Duos unlinking will be disabled at times, like when a tournament is in progress.
If duo unlinking is disabled, please reach out to us if you do decide you want to unlink your duo.
If you want to change your duo partner due to a temporary absence, you can contact us about a duo substitution.
How to unlink your duo
To unlink your duo, head to your Duo page in your dashboard. You will see two players on your screen if you are in a duo already. To unlink the duo, hover over the link icon in between the two players, and it should turn into an unlink icon.
If you get a message saying you cannot unlink your duo, please refer to above about duo substitutions and how duo unlinking can be disabled.
A few thinks to keep in mind
- Disbanded duos matches will retain their record.
- Once unlinked, both players are free to make new duo requests, or make new requests to form the same duo again.
