A key component of Gridlock is the incredible custom 1000x1000-block island map. It's designed to be a distillation of a vanilla survival world, providing every resource you could need, plus some entirely new structures and experiences that are exclusive to Gridlock. On the islands, you'll find all the structures you'd expect, with some visual overhauls:
- three ruined portals
- four shipwrecks
- two villages (acacia and spruce)
- a Desert and a Jungle Temple
- a Woodland Mansion
- a Pillager Outpost
- a Trial Chamber
- an Ancient City
- a Stronghold
- custom mineshafts, including an above-ground mine through a ravine
- vast custom caves, including an underground oasis and a huge lush cave biome
We also have custom Nether and End dimension terrain, featuring two bastions and two fortresses in the Nether and three end cities in the End. The locations of these structures will be rotated every week.
In every structure where chests are present, vanilla loot tables are used for each one.
- Chests in overground mineshafts use the mineshaft loot table
- Chests in the large room above the stronghold use the stronghold loot table
