The next step in Minecraft esports. Two teams of two. One shared board. Every square your opponent claims is locked forever.30 minutes. Three dimensions. No mercy.
Gridlock is an epic 2v2 battle in a custom 1000x1000-block Minecraft map. Raid temples, explore caverns, and traverse vast open terrain to gain as many points as you can before the timer runs out.

Choose your starting location with your teammate, and don your Elytra for a swift journey down to the surface. Once you land, collect materials, craft tools and get ready to fight.
Each team receives a bingo card with a variety of objectives shared across both teams. The more squares you complete, the more points you get - but move fast! If your opponents complete that square before you, it'll be locked out - permanently.
Throughout the game, 5 Quest Squares will unlock, offering a greater challenge for an even greater reward. At the end of the game, the team with the highest points (or the first team to complete enough squares that their opponent can no longer win) wins the match.
All players have the chance to compete for the crown, but only the best will make it through to the Grand Finals. Through four stages of fierce competition, players must fight their way to Gridlock glory - all streamed live.
The opening event of Gridlock: in this cut-throat phase, your team will compete against other duos to earn a spot in the next stage. Duos must play exactly 7 games per weekend to qualify for the next stage; if your win rate is below 50% at the end of the weekend, you're eliminated.
The top 24 duos from the qualifiers are seeded into a bracket, with the top 8 earning an automatic bye into the second round, while the remaining 16 battle it out. Over three weekends of best-of-three matches - all streamed live - the field narrows, until the final 8 teams per region punch their ticket to join the official circuit.
Now this is where Gridlock gets heated: the top 8 duos from the bracket stage are now put to the test against each other. They'll be split into two groups of four, and will compete in best-of-three matches in a round-robin format. To continue to the grand finals, you must place in the top 2 of your group. At the end of this stage, the final bracket pits the top 4 duos from the region against each other. With a final prize pool of $15k and a total of $10k being won every month, those four prestigious spots in the Grand Finals are all to play for.
Emerging victorious from the final circuit, the top 2 teams from each group in their respective region will be pitted against each other across two weekends to decide this season's champion of Gridlock.
