Register for Gridlock
Signups are not yet open! We'll be updating this wiki with more detailed instructions on how to sign up for Gridlock closer to the time. If you have any additional questions, or need support with signing up, ask a question in our Discord server.
To compete in Gridlock, you'll need to register ahead of time, otherwise you won't be able to join the competition. This will ensure you have everything set up to compete, and allow you to link with your duo partner and view more detailed information. The entire process will happen on our website, and you'll be able to register later this month.
When registering to compete, you will need:
- a Discord account
- a paid Minecraft: Java Edition account (cracked or shared accounts are not valid)
- a streaming account on either Twitch or YouTube
You will also need to agree to our Code of Conduct, and select a region (EU or NA).
You can still compete outside of Europe or North America! However you will need to choose a region, which will decide where the server you play on is located. We recommend choosing whichever is likely to give you the best connection based on your location. In future, we'll be exploring running a third region, but currently it's unfortunately not feasible.
If you and your partner are in different locations in the world, you'll both need to compete in the same region to play together - there is no cross-region matchmaking.
Though you don't need a partner while registering, to compete you must have a partner linked to your account. There is no in-game way to find a partner but the #looking-for-duo channel in our Discord server is a good place to start if you're looking to find a partner.
