The bracket stage is complete. The top 8 duos in each region compete in a best-of-one round robin, followed by a best-of-three bracket to determine who reaches the Grand Finals.
HOW TO PLAY
DROP IN.TAKE OVER.
Gridlock is an epic 2v2 battle in a custom 1000x1000-block Minecraft map. Raid temples, explore caverns, and traverse vast open terrain to gain as many points as you can before the timer runs out.
Plan Your Drop
Choose your starting location with your teammate, and don your Elytra for a swift journey down to the surface. Once you land, collect materials, craft tools and get ready to fight.
Beat the Board
Each team receives a bingo card with a variety of objectives shared across both teams. The more squares you complete, the more points you get - but move fast! If your opponents complete that square before you, it'll be locked out - permanently.
Lock It Out
Throughout the game, 5 Quest Squares will unlock, offering a greater challenge for an even greater reward. At the end of the game, the team with the highest points (or the first team to complete enough squares that their opponent can no longer win) wins the match.

PRACTICE WEEKEND
To allow everyone to have the best experience going into the Open Qualifiers, you will have the chance to experience Gridlock before the competition begins! 7 games, 8 hours, just like the real thing. This is a completely optional event, you can still compete in the Qualifiers if you are not able to attend!

OPEN QUALIFIERS
The opening event of Gridlock: in this cut-throat phase, your team will compete against other duos to earn a spot in the next stage. Duos can play a maximum of 7 games per weekend to qualify, and top duos (determined by the Ranking Metrics) will advance to the next stage.

AUG 8 — AUG 16
BRACKET STAGE
The top 16 duos from the qualifiers are seeded into a bracket and battle it out over two weekends of best-of-three matches - all streamed live - until the final 8 teams per region punch their ticket to join the official circuit.

THE CIRCUIT
Now this is where Gridlock gets heated. The top 8 duos from each region go head to head in a full round robin, every duo playing every other in best-of-one. Only the top 4 survive to the bracket weekend, where matches become best-of-three and one loss ends your month. It runs three times over three months, with $10k on the line every month and $30k across the whole Circuit.

GRAND FINALS
Emerging victorious from the final circuit, the top 2 teams from each group in their respective region will be pitted against each other across two weekends to decide this season's champion of Gridlock.
